The story

For years, the title of the most expensive USB key in the world was held by Shawish Geneva's Magic Mushroom: a jewel-mushroom in 18-carat white gold, set with emeralds and white diamonds, unveiled in 2011 and sold for around $36,000 — roughly €34,000 — for 32 GB of storage (source: Pursuitist, https://pursuitist.com/the-most-expensive-usb-flash-drive-you-can-find-by-shawish-geneva/).

Most Expensive Brand now claims this title — differently.

Our key is not a jewel. It is metal, silver-colored, sober. It has neither gold nor silver, nor diamonds. But it holds eight terabytes — at the time we add it to the collection, two hundred and fifty times the capacity of the previous record, and among the highest capacities ever offered in a pocket format.

The price is not in the material. It is in the promise: to be, in its category, the most expensive object in the world.
Nothing less.
